Hi, My name is Carmela Byus
About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) with over 13 years of experience providing addiction services and 3 years of experience supporting individuals with diverse life experiences. My expertise includes individual and group psychotherapy for mental health, dual diagnosis, and addiction, as well as conducting intakes and assessments in outpatient, inpatient, and criminal justice settings.
I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Committed to professional growth, I actively engage in consultation, continuing education, and training opportunities while maintaining strong connections with other professionals in the field.
Since beginning my career in 2012, my passion has been helping others discover their inner strength and purpose. I take an integrative, comprehensive approach that addresses the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of my clients.
